Daily Math Hub is a set of calculators. This page says what happens to a visit. It is written for the site as it works today.

What you type

Amounts, dates, heights, and weights are used to calculate a result in your browser. They are not sent to Daily Math Hub, and they are not written to an account, because there is no account. Leaving the page drops them.

What is stored on your device

If you change the currency, the choice is saved in local storage under the key dailymathhub-currency. That is so the symbol stays put on the next visit. You can clear it in your browser’s site data. No other preference is stored.

The host

The pages are files served by the host that publishes this site. A host typically keeps a short technical log: an IP address, the time, and the address requested. When the site is published on Vercel, Vercel Web Analytics counts a page view: the path, the referrer, the browser, and the country. It does not use a cookie and it does not receive what you type into a calculator. An embedded calculator is not counted. The host’s log is the host’s, and it is kept for security and for running the server.

Cookies

A bar at the bottom of the page stores whether advertising cookies are allowed. The AdSense script is in the head of every page either way, because that is the snippet Google requires. Allow ads records the choice as on. Reject records it as off. The choice itself is stored in a cookie named dmh_cookie. Cookie settings in the footer opens the same choice again.

Advertising

The AdSense script is in the head of each page. Google may show ads on its own and set a cookie to choose and measure them. Their description is on How Google uses advertising cookies. Reserved boxes under the header, in the desktop column, and below the result stay empty until a slot ID is added. Nothing is placed between the inputs or on top of a button. An embedded calculator uses the same page shell, so the script is present there too.

Children

The site is not aimed at children. The BMI page is an adult screening index. Do not send a child’s personal details; the forms do not ask for a name.

Who to write to

Use the contact form. The message is sent to Web3Forms, which delivers it by email to the publisher. The form asks for a name, an email, and the message. Those details are not stored by Daily Math Hub. There is still no account to correct.
