T20 captain: 54 off 32, 6 fours, 2 sixes
4 (XI) + 54 + 24 + 12 + 8 (fifty) + 4 (strike rate 168.75) = 106. Doubled as captain: 212.
Wickets are the biggest single item: one is worth a 30-run innings. That is why a bowler who takes three can outscore a batter's fifty.
For a player's real record, use the batting average and bowling economy calculators.
The scoring set used on this page is Dream11's published cricket point system for T20, ODI and Test matches, as listed below. Dream11 can change its rules, and its app is always final.
Only the highest batting milestone is paid (a century earns the 100 bonus, not 25 + 50 + 75 + 100 as well), and only the highest wicket haul.

Four players from the same T20 match, worked by the calculator above. The multiplier is applied to the whole base total, after every rule.
| Player | Batting | Bowling | Fielding | XI | Base | Multiplier | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Opener: 54 (32), 6 fours, 2 sixes, captain | 102 | 0 | 0 | 4 | 106 | 2× | 212 |
| Bowler: 4–0–24–3 (1 bowled), 1 maiden, 10 dots | 0 | 126 | 0 | 4 | 130 | 1× | 130 |
| All-rounder: 28 (18) + 2–0–17–1 + 1 catch, vice-captain | 50 | 34 | 8 | 4 | 96 | 1.5× | 144 |
| Keeper: 0 (3), 2 catches, 1 stumping | -2 | 0 | 28 | 4 | 30 | 1× | 30 |
Your captain scores double and your vice-captain one and a half times their total. A captain with 80 base points is worth 160; the same player as vice-captain is worth 120, and as a normal pick 80.
Because negative points are multiplied too, a captain who makes a duck in a T20 loses 4 points, not 2. Pick the captain for a high floor as well as a high ceiling.
Bowlers' points are compared with batters' using the bowling economy calculator; a batter's strike-rate band comes from the batting average calculator.

Each example is worked out by the same code as the calculator above.
4 (XI) + 54 + 24 + 12 + 8 (fifty) + 4 (strike rate 168.75) = 106. Doubled as captain: 212.
4 + 90 (wickets) + 8 (bowled) + 4 (3-wicket bonus) + 12 (maiden) + 10 (dots) + 2 (economy 6) = 130.

30 points in T20 and ODI, 20 in Tests, plus 8 if it was LBW or bowled. Run outs earn the fielder points, not the bowler.
The captain's full total is doubled and the vice-captain's is multiplied by 1.5, after every other rule is applied.

No. The duck penalty applies to batters, wicketkeepers and all-rounders only.
Yes. The multiplier applies to the whole total, so a captain's penalties count double as well.
